dc.description.abstractIn this study, the buckling behavior of E-glass/epoxy, E-glass/polyester and E-glass/vinylester based composite plates with fiber orientation of [0o /90o ] 4 will be determined experimentally. Test specimens prepared according to the ASTM standards. All buckling tests were performed using a Shimadzu brand tensile machine with load capacity of ± 250 kN. Some of the specimens consist hole and some do not. The specimens with hole have different geometrical shapes and also same hole area. The specimens were subjected to axial compressive load until buckling failure occurred. From the obtained test results, it was shown that the hole geometry and matrix materials have significant effects on the buckling load of the laminated composite plates.en_US
