Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Gaziantep ilindeki spor okullarına katılan öğrencilerin ailelerinin sosyo-ekonomik yapılarının ve ebeveynlerin beklenti düzeylerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada Sezgin Meral tarafından 2010 yılında uygulanan “Ailelerin Çocuklarını Futbol Okullarına Gönderme Sebeplerinin Belirlenmesi” ile belirtilen anket ifadelerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada Gaziantep ili yaz spor okullarına uygulanarak ebeveynlerin demografik yapıları, beklenti düzeyleri, spora karşı ilgi düzeyleri ve velilerin karşılaştıkları sorunlar betimsel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli ile durum tespiti yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın evrenini Gaziantep ilinde yaz spor okullarına katılan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunda yaz spor okullarına çocuklarını getiren bireyler arasından tesadüfü yöntemle belirlen 565 kişi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın istatistiksel analizleri JASP (A Fresh Way to Do Statistics) 0.9.2.0 programı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sorularının güvenirlilik analizleri, normal dağlım ve homojen dağılım analizleri yapılarak her bir sorudan elde edilen ortalama puanlara göre çözümlemeler yapılmıştır. İstatistiksel yöntemde frekans (N), yüzde (%) ortalama (X̄) ile T-test ve Tek Yönlü Varyans (ANOVA) ile Korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Sonuçların değerlendirilmesi istatistiksel anlamlılık Cronbach’s Alfa p<0,05 olarak belirlenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada yaz spor okuluna çocuklarını gönderme eğilim anketi güvenirlilik düzeyi Cronbach’s Alfa katsayısı = 0.863 olup anket maddelerinin birbiri ile tutarlı olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; ailelerin çocuklarını sağlıklı olması, ileride spor alanında lisans eğitimi alması ve okul stresinden kurtulması için gönderdikleri tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this research is to determine the families socio-economic structures and expectation levels of the parents of the students attending sports schools in Gaziantep. In the research, the questionnaire expressions specified in the "Identification of the Reasons of the Families to Send their Children to Football Schools" applied by Sezgin Meral in 2010 were used. In the research, the demographic structures of the parents, their expectation levels, the level of interest towards sports and the problems faced by the parents were determined by the screening model, which is one of the descriptive research methods, by applying it to the summer sports schools in Gaziantep. The universe of this research consists of students attending summer sports schools in Gaziantep. The sample group of the study consisted of 565 people who were determined by random method among the individuals who brought their children to summer sports schools. Statistical analyzes of the research were made with JASP (A Fresh Way to Do Statistics) 0.9.2.0 program. Reliability analyzes of the research questions, normal distribution and homogeneous distribution analyzes were made and analyzes were made according to the average scores obtained from each question. In the statistical method, frequency (N), percent (%) mean (X̄) and T-test and One-Way Variance (ANOVA) correlation analysis were applied. The statistical significance of the evaluation of the results was determined as Cronbach's Alpha p<0.05. In the research, the reliability level of the questionnaire for the tendency to send their children to the summer sports school was Cronbach's Alpha coefficient = 0.863, and it was understood that the questionnaire items were consistent with each other. In conclusion; It has been determined that families send their children to be healthy, to receive undergraduate education in the field of sports in the future, and to get rid of school stress.
