Özet
1879 yılında Bodrum’da doğan Neyzen, ilk eğitimini burada almış, neyle ilk kez
burada tanışmış, şiirle ilk defa burada ilgilenmeye başlamıştır. Bodrum’un doğal
güzellikleri, havası, denizi Neyzen’in ruhunda, hafızasında derin izler bırakmıştır.
Deniz sevgisini Bodrum’dan alan Neyzen ilkokulda ney çalmaya başlamıştır. Bodrum’daki Tepecik Kahvesi denilen yerde ilk kez neyle tanışmıştır. Bodrum’a gelen
saz şairlerinden şiirler dinleyen Neyzen şiir ezberlemeye burada başlamıştır. Hastalığı nedeniyle ve eğitim amacıyla Bodrum’dan İstanbul’a gelen Neyzen, Bodrum’u
hiç unutmamıştır. Bodrum’la özdeşleşen Neyzen Tevfik, “Bodrumlu Neyzen Tevfik” olarak anılmaktadır
In 1897, Neyzen was born in Bodrum and also took his first educational training in here, also he met with flute (ney) fort he first time in here and besides he started to be interested in with poems in here again. Natural beauties, ambiance and sea of Bodrum had effected Neyzen’s soul and memory deeply. Neyzen who is taking a sea love from Bodrum, started to play flute(ney) in the primary school. He acquaintanced with flute(ney) where is named Tepecik Kahvesi. Neyzen who is listened to poems from musical instruments poems, has been memorized poem in here. Neyzen who came to Istanbul from Bodrum because of his illness and purpose of the education, hasn’t forget to Bodrum. Neyzen Tevfik identified oneself with Bodrum has been named “Neyzen Tevfik from Bodrum”.
