This study aims to discuss, from a philosophical point of view, the nature of the language of religion in the context of language philosophy, the accuracy, significance and logical status of theistic expressions, the effect of religious discourse on symbols, whether it is possible to talk about God through theistic texts with religious symbols. While positioning its main arguments, religious symbolism considers the problem not only in terms of language, but also what the nature of religion is. In this context, the purpose of the symbols is to convey the meaning they contain to us indirectly and by implication, as well as the direct indications of religious and non-religious forms, as well as artistic, linguistic, aesthetic expressions. When we look at the relationship between this basic meaning and the symbolic meaning, we see that it does not seem possible to realize this situation without entering the world of symbolic and deep meaning in order to achieve a solid, seminal meaning. When we look at the issue from the point of view of philosophy of religion, it is seen that there is a serious language confusion between people in many subjects related to philosophy, anthropology and religion. It becomes a necessity to focus on these issues in detail and to carry out sensitive researches/studies on the language of religion. In every period of history, problems related to religion and the position of theological statements have always been the subject of discussion among thinkers. Discussions that focused on the nature of religion in the context of religious language, have focused on the logical status of religious propositions in the modern period. This situation has led to the need to reconsider religious propositions with today's experience. Thinkers have developed various approaches within their own philosophical systems in understanding the language of sacred texts on the axis of theological language. The main problem in this regard is to understand how the metaphysical issues should be used through symbols that belong to this world and human language.
