Özet
II.
Immediately after World War II, a new world order was tried to be built on the one hand, and on the other hand, a very interesting period called the Cold War phase began. In such a process, stunning developments took place in Turkey as well. In the first place, the Single Party period came to an end and multi-party political life was started. Subsequently, the Republican People's Party's self-criticism from head to toe and the improvement in freedom of thought allowed the place of religion in political life in the country to be questioned. The Democrat Party, which has conservative jeans, won the elections, which were held in an environment where what has been done in the name of secularism since the proclamation of the Republic has been criticized. After that, religion-state relations and a different time period when this phenomenon was tried. Religious circles and their representatives, who had been silent for nearly a quarter of a century, raised their voices without hesitation. As such, there were heated debates among the Turkish intelligentsia about the intervention of Islam in world affairs, especially in politics. During these discussions, most of which were carried out through the press, it was seen that while Kemalists, Westernists, Turkists, Islamists and Conservatives shared common opinions on some issues, they displayed diametrically opposite approaches on some issues.
