Özet
Türkiye’de gazetelerin tarihi süreç içerisinde sosyal, siyasal, ekonomik ve sanatsal pek çok etkileri
olmuştur. İlk gazetecilik faaliyetleri, Tanzimat Fermanı’nın ilanından hemen önce başlamış ve gazete,
o günden bugüne sistem ve toplumu önemli ölçüde değiştirip dönüştürme gücünü elinde
bulundurmuştur. Türk edebiyat tarihinde yer alan edebî sahadaki pek çok önemli eser ve faaliyet dahi
gazeteci/aydın/sanatçılar tarafından ortaya konulmuştur. Şiir, makale, öykü ve roman gibi pek çok yeni
edebî tür, basın aracılığıyla Türk edebiyatına dâhil olmuş ve okurla buluşmuş; yeni edebiyat
anlayışının yerleşmesi ve kökleşmesinde gazetelerin hayati bir rolü olagelmiştir.
Türk edebiyatının ilk dönem telif ve çeviri romanları gazetelerde tefrika edilmek suretiyle
yayımlanmıştır. İlk çeviri roman olan Tercüme-i Telemak, Mecmua-i Fünûn’da yayımlanmıştır.
Şemsettin Sami’nin 1872’de kaleme aldığı Taaaşşuk-ı Talat u Fıtnat romanı, Hadika gazetesinde
yayımlanmıştır. Esrâr-ı Cinâyât, Mai ve Siyah, Eylül gibi Türk romancılığında çığır açan eserler,
gazetelerde tefrika edilmek suretiyle ilk defa okurla buluşmuştur.
Çalışmamızda Osmanlı dönemindeki gazeteler taranarak gazetecilikle ilgili olan romanlar incenmiş;
Türk romanının doğuş sürecinde basının romana etkisi, gazete-roman ve romancı-gazeteci-iktidar
ilişkisi üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.
Newspapers have had many social, political, economic and artistic effects. Journalistic activities in Turkey started just before the proclamation of the Tanzimat Edict. The newspaper has changed and transformed the system and society significantly since then. Even the activities in the literary field have been put forward by the journalists / intellectuals / artists. Many new literary genres, such as poems, articles, stories and novels, were introduced to readers through the press. Newspapers have played a vital role in the establishment of the new literature. First period copyright and translation novels of Turkish literature were published in the newspapers. The first translation novel called Les Aventures de Télémaqhue (François Fénelon) was published by newspaper called Mecmua-i Fünûn. The novel written by Şemsettin Sami in 1872 which is called Taaşşuk-ı Talat u Fıtnat was published by the newspaper called Hadika. Breakthrough works in Turkish novelism such as Esrâr-ı Cinâyât, Mai ve Siyah and Eylül were firstly met with the readers by the newspapers In our study, the novels reletad to newspaper and journalism in Ottoman era have been examined and the impact of the press on the novel, the newspaper-novel and the novel-journalist-power relationship were evaluated in the genesis of the Turkish novel
