Özet
1955 yılında İstanbul’da doğan Mehmet Günsür, çağdaş Türk edebiyatının kıymetli
öykücülerden biridir. Resim, fotoğrafçılık gibi sanatların yanı sıra edebiyatla da tutkulu bir
bağ kuran Günsür’ün ilk öykü kitabı olan Caique 1995 yılında yayımlanır. 2003 yılında
yayımlanan İçeriye Bakan Kim? adlı öykü kitabıyla, Sait Faik Hikâye Armağanı’na değer
görülür. Bu ödülden bir yıl sonra, ardında “bir mücevher kitap” bırakarak kalp krizi sonucu
hayata veda eder. Günsür, yarım asrı bulmamış kısa ama yoğun bir hayattan damıttıklarını,
özgünlüğü ve yazma titizliğini elden bırakmayan bir üslupla öykülerine aktarmıştır. Türk
öykücülüğünde kıymetli bir yere sahip olduğu yolundaki gerekçeli yargıları, onun bu
titizlenen dil ve anlatım işçiliğinde aramak gerekir.
İçeriye Bakan Kim?, yalın ama yoğun, nesir ama şiir gibi bir dil ve anlatım tavrıyla dikkat
çeken on sekiz öyküden oluşur. Kitaptaki öyküler, sakin ve yumuşak anlatım ritmiyle, usulca
oluşturulan atmosferiyle dikkat çeker. Sahip oldukları doğallık ve samimiyet, öykü kişilerine
derinlik ve yoğunluk kazandırır. Dahası, karakterlerin ayrıntılarda belirginleşen incelikli,
duyarlıklı ve melankolik kişilik özellikleri, öykülerin atmosferiyle de uyum içindedir. İçeriye
Bakan Kim? adlı öykü kitabının, içerdiği söz konusu üslup özellikleri yönünden bir
incelemeye tabii tutulması, bu bildirinin konusunu oluşturmaktadır.
Mehmet Günsür who was born in Istanbul in 1955 is one of the most important talents of contemporary Turkish literature. Günsür, who established a passionate bond with literature as well as painting and photography, was first published in 1995 in his first short story collection, Caique. He won Sait Faik Short Story Award with the story book named Who İs Looking İnside? published in 2003. One year after this award, he left behind a ”jewel book” and died of a heart attack. Günsür transferred his short stories of a short but intense life, which had not been taken for half a century, to his short stories in a style that never left his authenticity and writing rigor. The reasoned judgments in the way that he has a valuable place in Turkish story-writing should be searched in his rigorous language and expression workmanship. Who is Looking İnside?, consists of eighteen stories that draw attention with a simple but intense, prose, poetry-like language and narrative attitude. The stories in the book draw attention with the calm and soft narrative rhythm and the softly created atmosphere. Their naturalness and sincerity give the story to the people of depth and intensity. Moreover, the subtle, sensitive and melancholic personality traits of characters, which are evident in detail, are in harmony with the atmosphere of the stories. The subject of this paper is the examination of the story book named Who İs Looking İnside? in terms of the stylistic features it contains.
