A generalization of the Katzman-Zhang algorithm
    (Elsevier, 2021-03) Yeşil, Mehmet
In this paper, we study the notion of special ideals. We generalize the results on those as well as the algorithm obtained for finite dimensional power series rings by Mordechai Katzman and Wenliang Zhang to finite dimensional polynomial rings.

First boundary value problem for cordes-type semilinear parabolic equation with discontinuous coefficients
(Hindawi, 2020-06-19) Harman, Aziz; Harman, Ezgi
For a class of semilinear parabolic equations with discontinuous coefficients, the strong solvability of the Dirichlet problem is studied in this paper. The problem ∑i,j=1naijt,xuxixj-ut+gt,x,u=ft,x,uΓQT=0, in QT=Ω×0,T is the subject of our study, where Ω is bounded C2 or a convex subdomain of En+1,ΓQT=∂QT\∖t=T. The function gx,u is assumed to be a Caratheodory function satisfying the growth condition gt,x,u≤b0uq, for b0>0,q∈0,n+1/n-1,n≥2, and leading coefficients satisfy Cordes condition b0>0,q∈0,n+1/n-1,n≥2.

Multivariate padé approximation for solving partial differential equations (PDE)
(Wiley-Blackwell, 2011-07-30) Turut, Veyis; Çelik, Ercan; Yiğider, Muhammed
In this paper, numerical solution of partial differential equations (PDEs) is considered by multivariate padé approximations. We applied these method to two examples. First, PDE has been converted to power series by two-dimensional differential transformation, Then the numerical solution of equation was put into multivariate padé series form. Thus, we obtained numerical solution of PDE.

    (Hacettepe University, 2020-10-06) Yeşil, Mehmet
In this paper, we introduce an explicit version of the correspondence between Noetherian modules with Cartier maps and Artinian modules with Frobenius maps which recovers the correspondence given by R. Y. Sharp and Y. Yoshino, and the correspondence given by M. Blickle and G. Böckle.

A fuzzy logic based approach to solve interval multiobjective nonlinear transportation problem
(Springer Nature, 2019-06-01) Dalman, Hasan; Sivri, Mustafa
This paper presents the solution procedure of multiobjective nonlinear transportation problem (MNOTP) where the cost coefficients of the objective functions, and the supply and the unknown demand parameters have been formulated as interval numbers by the decision maker. This problem has been converted into a conventional MNOTP where to minimize the interval nonlinear objective functions, the order relations that define the choice between intervals have been determined by the interval arithmetic. Also, the constraints with interval supply and unknown demand parameters have been transformed into its deterministic forms. Then the deterministic problems have been solved by two compromise programming methods. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed procedure as well.

Interactive goal programming algorithm with Taylor series and interval type 2 fuzzy numbers
(Springer Nature, 2019-06-01) Dalman, Hasan; Bayram, Mustafa
This paper presents an interactive fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach for solving Multiobjective Nonlinear Programming Problems (MONLPP) with interval type 2 fuzzy numbers (IT2 FNs). The cost and time of the objective functions, and the requirements of each kind of resources are taken to be trapezoidal IT2 FNs. Here, the considered fuzzy problem is first transformed into an equivalent crisp MONLPP, and then the MONLPP is converted into an equivalent multiobjective linear programming problem (MOLPP). By using an algorithm based on Taylor series, this problem is also reduced into a single objective linear programming problem (LPP) which can be easily solved by Maple 2017 optimization toolbox. Finally, the proposed solution procedure is illustrated by a numerical example.

New inner product quasilinear spaces on interval numbers
(Hindawi, 2016) Bozkurt, Hacer; Yılmaz, Yılmaz
Primarily we examine the new example of quasilinear spaces, namely, "IRn interval space." We obtain some new theorems and results related to this new quasilinear space. After giving some new notions of quasilinear dependence-independence and basis on quasilinear functional analysis, we obtain some results on IRn interval space related to these concepts. Secondly, we present Is,Ic0,Il∞, and Il2 quasilinear spaces and we research some algebraic properties of these spaces. We obtain some new results and provide an important contribution to the improvement of quasilinear functional analysis.

Multivariate pade approximations for solving nonlinear diffusion equations
(Walter de Gruyter, 2015-11-24) Turut, Veyis
In this paper, multivariate Pade approximation is applied to power series solutions of nonlinear diffusion equations. As it is seen from tables, multivariate Pade approximation (MPA) gives reliable solutions and numerical results.
