Özet
A correct and conscious career choice is the basic step for the success and happiness of human beings. The aim of this study is to investigate the faculty choice reasons of the education faculty students by using the logistic regression analysis and to unfold the factors that affect their decisions. This present study is conducted with 276 students from different programs of faculty of education. A survey, designed for this study, was administered to the participants in person. According to the results of the single variable logistic regression, where dependent variable was selected as whether the teaching profession was chosen willingly and the remaining variables were treated as independent variables, gender, high school type, teacher impact, willingness to educate young individuals, and the respect of the community were found to have significant effect on the dependent variable.
