dc.description.abstractHasankeyf civarındaki birimler tabanda yeşilimsi, grimsi yeşil, şeyl, marn ve kumtaşından oluşan Orta Maastrihtiyen-Üst Paleosen Germav Formasyonu ile başlar. Bu birimin üstünde uyumlu olarak kırmızımsı renkli çamurtaşı, kumtaşı ve kiltaşı ardalanmasından oluşan Alt Eosen Gercüş formasyonu yer almaktadır. Gercüş formasyonunun üzerine krem, bej, gri, beyaz renkli, orta-kalın-çok kalın tabakalı, kireçtaşı ve dolomitlerden oluşan Alt Eosen-Alt Oligosen Hoya formasyonu gelmektedir. Bu birimin üzerine de beyaz, bej, gri, kahvemsi, sarı renkli, yer yer dolomitli kireçtaşı, killi kireçtaşı ve jips ardalanmasından oluşan Oligosen Germik formasyonu gelir. Bu birimin üzerinde uyumsuz olarak çakıltaşı, kumtaşı, silttaşı ardalanmasından oluşan Üst Miyosen-Alt Pliyosen Şelmo Formasyonu yer alır. Hoya formasyonundaki kireçtaşları ince kesitlerde fosilli, intraklast taneli, sparitik ve mikritik bağlayıcılı şeklinde görülmektedir. Kireçtaşları içerisinde nummulites, milliolidae fosilleri görülmektedir. Kireçtaşları Dunham’a (1962) göre istiftaşı olarak adlandırılmıştır. Hoya formasyonundaki dolomitler özşekilli-yarı özşekilli, idiyotopik dokulu özellikler göstermektedir. Germik formasyonundaki dolomitler ince-orta boyutlu, özşekilsiz-yarıözşekilli ksenotopik dokuludur. Birim içerisindeki jipsler kısa-uzun prizmatik, iğnemsi görünümlü kristaller şeklindediren_US
dc.description.abstractThe units around the Hasankeyf begin with the Middle Maastrichtian-Upper Paleocene Germav Formation consisting of greenish, greyish-green, shale, marl and sandstone. This unit is conformably overlain by the the Lower Eocene Gercüs formation, composed of reddish colored mudstone, sandstone and claystone intercalations. The Lower Eocene-Lower Oligocene Hoya formation conformably overlies the Gercüş formation and is composed of cream, beige, gray, white colored medium-thick-very thick bedded, limestone and dolomites. This unit is overlain by the Oligosen Germik formation consisting of white, beige, gray, brownish, yellow colored dolomitic limestone, clayey limestone and gypsum. The Upper Miocene-Lower Pliocene Şelmo Formation unconformably overlies th above mentioned units and is made up of conglomerate, sandstone and siltstone alternations. In thin sections, the limestones of the Hoya formation have been observed as fossiliferous, intraclastic granular, sparitic and micritic binding. Additionally,the limestones include nummulites, milliolidae fossils. According to Dunham (1962), the limestones have been named as “packestones”.. The dolomites in the Hoya formation are euhedral-semieuhedral, idiotopic texture. The dolomites of the Germik formation are thin-medium sized, anhedralsemieuhedral xenotopic texture. The gypsums in this unit are short-long prismatic shaped and needle-like crystals.en_US
