Atatürk, who made many innovations for the Turkish people to rise above the level of contemporary civilization, has worked for the Turkish woman to achieve her rightful place in the Republican administration. The Turkish woman, who acquired new rights with the Civil Code in 1926, participated in the municipal elections in 1930, and was elected as a Mukhtar in 1933, won the right to be elected and elected by law under the leadership of Atatürk on 5 December 1934. During the V.Period elections held on February 8, 1935, 18 women MPs were elected and participated to the TBMM. The news media reported on the first women's parliamentarians and their work in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. One of these MPs is Esma Nayman. Esma Nayman, V. Period (1935-1939) was a member of the Parliament of Seyhan. Nayman, who worked in the Economy Committee during her parliamentary period, did not dismiss Ataturk's confidence in the Turkish woman, as did the other 17 female parliamentarians who entered the Turkish Grand National Assembly with their work.
